About the Role
You will manage robotic deployments from site survey through installation, commissioning, verification, and training. You will coordinate site teams and customers, manage deployment changes and backlogs, document lessons learned, and improve deployment processes and project-management practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing technical programs or projects
- Experience managing implementation or deployment projects involving complex software and hardware solutions
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams and third parties
- Knowledge of automation, material handling, logistics, and distribution technologies and practices
- Experience developing and managing operating plans or budgets
- Knowledge of project-management tools, processes, and procedures
- Experience delivering shared solutions with technical and non-technical teams
- Engineering, testing, and debugging skills
- Ability to communicate across organizational levels and formats
- Ability to work in warehouse and distribution-center environments
Responsibilities
- Manage robotic deployments from planning through installation, commissioning, and training
- Coordinate technicians, deployment engineers, design engineers, supply-chain teams, and customer stakeholders
- Manage site logistics, bills of materials, tools, equipment, verification, and production training
- Define site-specific component sizing and delivery standards
- Manage changes and upgrades to robotic deployments
- Manage deployment backlogs and operational and technical dependencies
- Establish project-management processes that increase deployment capacity and speed and reduce costs
- Create templates, best practices, and materials for project-management and field teams
- Capture deployment learnings and translate them into process and design improvements
- Ensure deadlines and deliverables remain on track
