About the Role
You will support project leadership across UK and Portugal projects as a coordination and controls point. You will manage governance routines, meeting records, action tracking, programme visibility, risks, dependencies, document flow, reporting packs, and coordination across delivery workstreams and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in project coordination, project controls, PMO support, or assistant project management
- Experience on major construction, infrastructure, or data-centre programmes
- Experience supporting client-side or owner-side project teams
- Experience with governance routines, action trackers, reporting packs, risk and issue logs, and decision registers
- Programme literacy for construction and infrastructure schedules
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Aconex, Procore, or similar platforms
- Ability to travel between UK and Portugal project locations
Responsibilities
- Coordinate governance meetings, agendas, pre-reads, minutes, and action logs
- Track actions, owners, due dates, and follow-up activities
- Maintain project decision registers
- Consolidate weekly and monthly reporting packs
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, site visits, and project activities
- Maintain programme trackers and monitor milestones
- Track owner obligations, approvals, information releases, and OFCI milestones
- Maintain risk, issue, and dependency logs
- Escalate blockers, stale risk actions, and programme slippage
- Coordinate submittals, RFIs, technical queries, and approvals
- Distribute and file key project documents and correspondence
- Produce dashboards, summary notes, and executive reporting packs
- Support project directors, project managers, and workstream leads
- Coordinate across development, design, infrastructure, utilities, procurement, construction, OFCI, and commissioning
- Travel between UK and Portugal project locations as required
