About the Role
Voyager Technologies seeks a Program Manager II to lead execution of 3–5 projects spanning solid rocket motors, chemicals, and explosives. The role manages scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, customer and government-agency relationships, and vendor or customer contract negotiations. It is part of the Voyager Energetics leadership team and requires onsite work in Pueblo and Penrose, Colorado, with travel of up to 30%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or management, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in project or supply chain management and operations.
- Experience managing defense or government projects.
- Experience negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, or customers.
- Experience using project management software to manage schedules and budgets.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate U.S. Security Clearance; requires U.S. citizenship.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain applicable state and federal explosives licenses and complete required background investigations.
- Must meet applicable U.S. Government export-control and ITAR requirements as a U.S. Person or be eligible to obtain required authorizations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute coordinated plans for a portfolio of 3–5 projects, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, risks, and resources.
- Serve as the primary liaison among internal teams, clients, and government agencies.
- Monitor project budgets and financials to meet financial targets and control costs.
- Manage and communicate scope changes to maintain alignment with program goals and customer expectations.
