About the Role
You will partner with treasury, accounting, and finance teams to understand their most pressing operational challenges, architect scalable solutions, and lead successful implementations across debt & investments, derivatives, hedge accounting, accounting workflows, and cash flow & balance sheet hedging. You'll drive high-impact discovery workshops to uncover client pain points, map business processes, and design the path forward. You'll design and document future-state solution architectures that align Ripple Treasury's capabilities with each client's business objectives and regulatory requirements. You'll streamline debt lifecycle management, interest accruals, investment accounting, and exposure reporting. You'll lead implementation of comprehensive derivative management solutions across FX and interest rate instruments, configuring instruments, automating exposure identification, designing hedging strategies, and supporting MTM valuation. You'll guide clients through hedge accounting requirements under ASC 815 and IFRS, owning designation, effectiveness testing, documentation, and valuation. You'll partner with accounting and finance teams to modernize reporting, automate journal entries, and improve reconciliation workflows. You'll take a hands-on role configuring and deploying Ripple Treasury solutions, serve as the key escalation point during implementations, deliver engaging training sessions, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Support.
Requirements
- 3+ years in client-facing consulting, treasury/risk technology implementations, or SaaS delivery
- Deep understanding of treasury and financial risk management including debt, FX and interest rate derivatives, hedge accounting, and accounting workflows
- Proven ability to analyze complex business challenges and build creative, scalable client solutions
- Strong solution architecture and business process design skills
- Exceptional communication skills to translate complex concepts into clear business value
- Technical fluency with treasury systems, ERPs, banking platforms, and financial integrations
- Experience working directly with Corporate Treasury, Accounting, Finance, and Risk Management teams
Responsibilities
- Drive high-impact discovery workshops to uncover client pain points and map business processes
- Design and document future-state solution architectures aligned to client objectives and regulatory requirements
- Streamline debt lifecycle management, interest accruals, investment accounting, and exposure reporting
- Configure and manage FX derivative instruments including forwards, swaps, options, and cross-currency swaps
- Automate FX exposure identification, aggregation, and netting across multi-entity global organizations
- Design and implement FX hedging strategies including cash flow and balance sheet hedging programs
- Streamline end-to-end FX workflows including trade capture, confirmations, settlements, revaluations, and P&L reporting
- Support mark-to-market valuation and counterparty exposure monitoring
- Implement and manage interest rate derivative instruments including IRS, caps, floors, collars, and swaptions
- Model and monitor interest rate risk across fixed and floating rate debt portfolios
- Configure accrual calculations, reset schedules, payment processing, and rate fixings for swap portfolios
- Support fair value and cash flow hedge accounting for IRS instruments including effectiveness testing and journal entry automation
- Deliver MTM valuations, sensitivity analysis, and regulatory reporting support for interest rate derivative programs
- Guide clients through hedge accounting requirements under ASC 815 and IFRS
- Own designation, effectiveness testing, documentation, and valuation for hedge accounting
- Partner with accounting and finance teams to modernize reporting processes and automate journal entries
- Configure and deploy Ripple Treasury solutions
- Serve as the key escalation point during implementations
- Deliver training sessions to empower end users and drive adoption
