About the Role

Establish and manage the master production schedule as the central link between customer expectations and production availability. Align orders with capacity, identify critical paths and bottlenecks, resolve material shortages and resource conflicts, generate scheduling and materials reports, maintain project data in Infor Visual Manufacturing, lead production review meetings, and improve order fulfillment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of production planning experience
  • Experience in metal or electrical manufacturing preferred
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and Google Workspace
  • Advanced Excel or Sheets skills
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience with MRP or ERP software such as Oracle, SAP, SAGE, or Infor preferred
  • Understanding of material flows and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for 8 hours or more daily
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Drug and alcohol program participation
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2015 is beneficial
  • Training in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is beneficial
  • Advanced experience with Infor Visual Manufacturing is beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the production master schedule
  • Monitor customer orders and align delivery expectations with production capacity
  • Identify critical paths and resolve resource conflicts
  • Resolve material shortages and manufacturing bottlenecks
  • Generate scheduling and materials reports
  • Maintain accurate project data in the Infor Visual Manufacturing MRP system
  • Lead daily, weekly, and monthly production review meetings
  • Report project status, delays, and workforce needs
  • Coordinate Procurement, Materials Management, and Production
  • Manage the 90-day production outlook
  • Improve the scheduling process and order fulfillment
