About the Role

You will direct all production activities at the Ponchatoula facility, including product flow, resource planning, production planning, and execution. You will champion Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, coordinate with project, scheduling, sales, and engineering functions, mentor department managers, evaluate human and machine resources, reduce downtime and costs, and track productivity metrics for executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive production management experience in a design/build manufacturing environment
  • At least 4+ years in a management role
  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Understanding of Build to Order and Configure to Order manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as Acumatica, SAP, or Oracle
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet and Google's software suite
  • Ability to lead a diverse team in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Drug and alcohol program participation
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is beneficial
  • Experience with ISO 9001, UL, NEMA, or NEC standards is beneficial
