About the Role
You will coordinate daily factory-floor execution, assign tasks and resources, monitor production flow, verify line readiness, resolve quality and equipment issues, complete production documentation, conduct shift handoffs, support training, and drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous-improvement work.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience; high school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years in a regulated manufacturing environment, including 1+ year in a leadership role.
- Hands-on assembly, manufacturing, or production experience.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and meet production goals.
- Communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, use hand tools, and handle chemicals with PPE.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
- Assign daily tasks and coordinate resources to meet production schedules and quality targets.
- Monitor production flow, track progress, and update priority work orders.
- Verify readiness of lines, components, and equipment, and support setups and changeovers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve quality, equipment, and process issues.
- Review and complete production documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct shift handoffs and cross-functional updates.
- Support employee training and cover absent operators when needed.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement with supervisors.
