About the Role

You will operate and monitor automated adapters and storage systems to maintain safety, uptime, throughput, and production performance. You will conduct pre-production checks and inspections, recover robotic vehicles, troubleshoot stoppages, perform basic maintenance, report issues, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proficiency in system inspection functions including cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checking, current measurements, and electrical-system checks.
• Ability to prioritize work for maximum uptime and throughput.
• Ability to analyze stoppages and resolve or escalate issues.
• Ability to work independently using system procedures and manuals.
• Written and verbal English literacy.
• Ability to work at heights up to 45 feet and in restrictive spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and move up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand or walk for 10–12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily compliance with safety processes and procedures.
• Perform pre-production checks on automated adapters.
• Process and monitor automated storage and retrieval system flows.
• Prepare pallets for induction into the storage and retrieval system.
• Assess system stoppages and return equipment to service using HMI and manual intervention.
• Analyze recurring faults and determine corrective actions.
• Escalate production-impacting issues to operational leadership.
• Perform system inspections, cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checks, and component validation.
• Perform rover bot upkeep and automated robotic vehicle recovery.
• Assist Automation Technicians with breakdown calls and system availability.
• Recommend process and continuous improvements.
