About the Role
You will design and build scalable telemetry ingestion and storage pipelines for metrics, logs, and traces. You will evolve observability platforms, commercialization and billing systems, partnership integrations, developer tooling, AI-agent infrastructure, and testing standards. You will lead cross-functional technical designs, improve reliability and deployment safety, and support engineering quality through reviews, mentorship, and technical writing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience building scalable backend systems and platforms
- Experience building or operating observability systems or internal infrastructure at scale
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or a similar backend language
- Understanding of quality and engineering principles
- Systems-level understanding of distributed systems and data flows
- Platform mindset focused on adoption and self-service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable telemetry ingestion and storage pipelines for metrics, logs, and traces
- Own and evolve core observability platforms
- Build commercialization and billing systems
- Develop strategic partnership integrations
- Develop internal infrastructure and tooling for developer velocity, CI/CD, and deployment safety
- Own the internal AI agent platform from architecture through operation and measurement
- Own the testing strategy, standards, tiers, and tooling
- Improve platform reliability through alerting, incident tooling, and production debugging workflows
- Lead technical design for cross-team projects
- Partner with infrastructure, model performance, and product teams
- Raise engineering quality through code review, mentorship, and technical writing
