About the Role
You will design scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure across cloud regions and evolve multi-cloud systems. You will improve observability, incident response, distributed-system reliability, and infrastructure-as-code practices while mentoring engineers and partnering with Product Engineering and Security.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Core Backend Infrastructure Engineering or Backend Platform Engineering experience
- Experience building and scaling complex distributed systems
- Cloud infrastructure proficiency, with Azure preferred
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, networking, and cloud security
- Experience with Datadog, Sentry, PagerDuty, or Incident.io
- Programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Authorization to work in India
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure systems across cloud regions
- Own and evolve multi-cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes orchestration, networking, and container management
- Lead observability, incident-response, and operational-excellence initiatives
- Architect distributed systems for reliability, load balancing, quota management, and failover
- Partner with Product Engineering and Security teams
- Drive infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and Pulumi
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and technical leadership
