About the Role
You will establish and continuously improve the design team's operating system, including cadences, planning, decision forums, reporting, and sources of truth. You will coordinate design dependencies with brand, marketing, product, engineering, and GTM, automate repetitive operational work with AI, and support launch coordination and feedback loops.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in design operations, product operations, program management, or a chief-of-staff role within a creative or product organization
- Experience building operational disciplines from scratch
- Experience automating repetitive work with AI tools
- Systems-thinking skills
- Design literacy
- Communication and synthesis skills
- Ability to define scope and work effectively in ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Define the design team's operating system, including cadences, forums, rituals, and sources of truth
- Own weekly and quarterly leadership syncs, critiques, planning, retrospectives, and headcount-cycle inputs
- Coordinate Brand, Marketing, Product, and Product Design interlocks
- Establish work-tracking and status-sharing processes
- Design and maintain decision-making forums and records
- Remove unnecessary operational overhead
- Automate coordination, reporting, and tracking with AI
- Apply data, analytics, feedback loops, early-access programs, and launch coordination
- Partner with marketing, product managers, engineering, and GTM on design timing and releases
