About the Role
You will take functional ownership of the Events & Transcripts content data pipeline, overseeing tool development that supports content collection, production, and integration. You'll define and refine business requirements, sourcing, methodology, policies, and data integrity processes. Working closely with engineering, you'll refine collection and deduplication tools and techniques, optimizing costs, automation opportunities, and timelines. You'll participate in regular team meetings and performance reviews to track progress and identify growth opportunities. You'll contribute to successful market launches of new content by helping create announcements, marketing collateral, documentation, and training materials. You'll serve as an escalation point for data integrity and methodology issues, and you'll track industry and competitive trends to help shape product vision and market positioning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in content strategy or operations related to financial data including at least 5 years of product management experience
- Strong preference for experience in events & transcripts data curation
- Expertise in investment research and analysis including firsthand knowledge of transcripts usage in the investment industry
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a results-oriented mindset
- Track record of thriving in a fast-paced dynamic environment managing multiple priorities and geographically dispersed teams
- Demonstrated history of delivering content and functionality using iterative/agile development methodologies
- Superior ability to set priorities, stay focused and meet deadlines
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with a database query language such as SQL
- Masters in Commerce or business degree with strong academic record; Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst certification a significant plus
