About the Role
Drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of data and analytics products that support decision-making across investment, finance, and operations teams. Build analytical experiences such as dashboards, reports, and self-service tools, translate business needs into product requirements, and act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree in a business or technology field is a plus.
- 5+ years of product management experience with exposure to data platforms, analytics, or business intelligence products.
- Ability to translate business problems into product requirements and executable roadmaps.
- Familiarity with data warehouses, BI and visualization tools, and ETL processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
- Experience with Agile or hybrid SDLC methodologies; Jira and Confluence familiarity preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Private equity, alternative investments, or financial services experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap for data and analytics platforms.
- Translate business goals into problem statements and outcome-oriented use cases.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and shape product strategy.
- Capture, refine, and prioritize product enhancements and requests.
- Facilitate requirements sessions and maintain a prioritized backlog.
- Communicate roadmap and release plans while managing expectations and trade-offs.
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and application teams.
- Lead end-to-end delivery, including design, development, testing, launch, and stabilization.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing with business partners.
- Prepare status updates and materials for working teams and senior stakeholders.
- Define and track KPIs for product adoption, performance, and business impact.
- Gather feedback and iterate on product features and documentation.
- Contribute to data governance, access controls, and stewardship.いう
