About Sunscreen
Sunscreen develops FHE-based developer infrastructure, including the Parasol LLVM-based compiler, virtual processor, TFHE library, and Secure Processing Framework (SPF). These tools allow developers to write programs in mainstream languages, compile them for encrypted computation, and deploy them on-chain or in web2 environments. SPF provides capabilities such as threshold decryption, access control, off-chain storage, and blockchain event handling. Sunscreen's demos and materials focus on private voting, auctions, dark pools, private information retrieval, prediction markets, and other privacy-preserving applications for blockchain, fintech, healthcare, government, and enterprise use cases.

About the Role
The Product Engineer will lead product strategy and vision with the founder, plan and execute a multi-year roadmap, evaluate potential applications, assess strategic opportunities for fully homomorphic encryption, present work at conferences, collaborate across teams, and apply technical and cryptography interests to product development.
Requirements
- Technical background and/or previous engineering experience
- Strong interest in cryptography
- Experience building products in traditional finance, specifically trading, or in DeFi
- Interest in learning cryptography
- Previous leadership experience
- Interest in collaboration across teams
- Interest in good design practices and user experience
