About the Role
You will build an opportunity pipeline across AI, civil society, government, and philanthropy. You will assess technical feasibility, social value, adoption paths, and risks; validate opportunities with users and experts; and recommend whether to fund, partner, prototype, recruit, incubate, revisit, or stop.
Requirements
- Deep technical judgment about AI capabilities and limitations
- Experience building technology or products
- Zero-to-one product-building experience
- Ability to conduct rigorous research and evaluate evidence
- Portfolio judgment and prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences
- Judgment regarding safety, equity, local context, and responsible deployment
Responsibilities
- Build a pipeline of AI opportunity ideas and relationships
- Track AI capabilities and connect them to consequential social needs
- Develop concrete opportunity theses
- Conduct technical and strategic diligence
- Validate opportunities through interviews, workshops, and field visits
- Recommend execution paths and establish repeatable scouting and diligence practices
