About the Role
You will lead silicon validation, test-program development, and productization for AI accelerator chips. You will define and execute test strategies from first silicon through production, improve yield and test cost, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate test vendors and manufacturing partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5–10+ years of hands-on silicon validation, product engineering, and ATE test-development experience
- Yield optimization and DPPM reduction experience
- Silicon characterization experience, including Fmax/Vmin and power and thermal validation
- High-volume manufacturing test experience
- Yield and fail Pareto analysis using JMP, Exensio, DataPower, or OptimalPlus
- Test-program debugging, failure analysis correlation, and yield-enhancement knowledge
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute silicon characterization from first silicon through production release
- Lead test cost optimization while maintaining quality standards
- Architect test flows that balance test time, coverage, and yield learning
- Drive yield improvement through data-driven root-cause analysis
- Establish and track quality metrics, including DPPM and test escapes
- Perform die- and package-level bring-up and resolve failure modes
- Support OSAT bring-up and manage ATE and SLT test-program releases
- Productize test programs for transition to high-volume manufacturing
- Analyze field returns and improve screening methods
- Drive ATE-to-system correlation activities
- Manage test vendors, OSAT partners, and foundry partners
