About the Role

You will define strategic objectives, prioritise product roadmap initiatives, and work with research, product, and engineering to reduce risk and create customer value. You will deliver tested, validated outcomes incrementally, monitor impact, and adjust where needed. You will champion design thinking, lead design reviews, and mentor a distributed team of product designers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in UX Design or Product Design
  • Experience in a scale-up or start-up SaaS company
  • Experience leading a small Product Design squad or contributing to product design and launch in a fast-growing company
  • Knowledge of Product Design methodologies, including Design Thinking and user-centred design
  • Ability to work with Product Management and Engineering to define product strategy and OKRs
  • Proficiency in leading design reviews and using Figma
  • Experience with user testing and research methodologies
  • Experience working in an agile scale-up environment
  • Experience using data tools such as Looker, Heap, GA, or Hotjar to inform design

Responsibilities

  • Define strategic objectives and goals with Product Managers, Technical Owners, and senior stakeholders
  • Identify and prioritise product roadmap initiatives
  • De-risk initiatives through research, product, and engineering collaboration
  • Define success metrics and expected impact
  • Deliver tested and validated outcomes incrementally
  • Partner with Product Engineering to align delivery with the vision
  • Improve ways of working to ensure quality member experiences
  • Monitor customer impact and operational success and pivot when needed
  • Champion design thinking and member-centric practices
  • Lead and mentor a distributed team of Product Designers
  • Develop actionable career goals for design talent
  • Promote continuous improvement and collaboration across the team
