About the Role
You will oversee fund accounting and administration for complex private equity and credit funds. You will review valuations, allocations, pricing, cash flows, and investor data; reconcile records; resolve discrepancies; maintain client files; prepare audit documentation; review junior and offshore work; and support client projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or at least 4 years of private equity experience
- Experience with alternative investment asset classes, complex fund structures, and fee calculations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with investment or portfolio accounting platforms
Responsibilities
- Oversee ledger bookings related to net asset valuations
- Review allocations and current NAV pricing for fund-of-funds and direct investment private equity positions
- Investigate and analyze cash flow discrepancies
- Identify pricing discrepancies and resolve P&L inquiries with clients
- Liaise with middle office and fund accounting teams to support timely fund NAV delivery
- Compile, maintain, and reconcile fund and investor static data
- Maintain and archive client files
- Prepare client correspondence and valuation documentation for audits
- Review junior associate and offshore team work
- Participate in client and internal projects
