About the Role
You will lead the definition, positioning, and execution of strategic photonics computing products. You will own product strategy and roadmaps, translate AI and ML workload needs into product requirements, validate product-market fit with customers, and manage products from early development through end of life. You will develop pricing and revenue guidance, support customer rollouts, create technical collateral, and communicate product strategy to industry stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on understanding of AI/ML systems architecture, ML models, training and inference workloads, XPU and accelerator architectures, and datacenter-scale system design
- 15+ years of related industry experience, including 10+ years in product management, product marketing, applications engineering, or business development
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to drive products through the full development cycle from business case through EOL
- Experience with datacenter products and technologies including compute infrastructure, optical networking, provisioning, and operations at scale
- Understanding of semiconductor chip development and the AI hardware ecosystem
- Ability to synthesize technical and market data into product strategy
- Cross-functional communication skills bridging engineering and executive audiences
Responsibilities
- Lead product definition, SKU strategy, market positioning, messaging, and MRD/PRD ownership
- Define and own the roadmap for the photonic computing platform
- Engage AI/ML experts, cloud architects, and compute platform teams to validate product-market fit
- Translate ML workload requirements into photonics computing product requirements
- Drive rollout to lead customers and manage the full product lifecycle through EOL
- Develop pricing guidelines, margin analysis, and revenue forecasts
- Represent the company at industry forums and speaking events
- Produce technical and marketing collateral with product marketing and documentation teams
- Brief industry press, analysts, and investors on product strategy and positioning
