About the Role
You will define and evolve secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud platform architecture. You will design AWS infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code solutions, build deployment pipelines, manage Kubernetes environments, create self-service platform capabilities, define observability standards, and provide technical leadership and documentation.
Requirements
- 12 or more years of overall experience
- Cloud infrastructure engineering across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Cloud networking, IaaS, and PaaS architecture
- Terraform or Ansible
- AWX, Ansible Tower, or Terragrunt
- Python, Bash, or Go
- CI/CD pipeline design
- DevSecOps, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance
- Kubernetes administration
- EKS, AKS, or GKE
- Networking, RBAC, pod security, Istio, and Docker image management
- Backstage, JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, API gateways, and self-service tooling
- Honeycomb, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Microservices architecture, DNS, load balancing, and traffic management
- Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
Responsibilities
- Design scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Lead cloud technology evaluation and standardisation
- Build, optimise, and maintain infrastructure deployment pipelines
- Establish DevOps and DevSecOps practices
- Architect and manage Kubernetes environments
- Implement self-service platform engineering tools and developer portals
- Define and enforce monitoring, alerting, and observability standards
- Foster collaboration between development and operations
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and documentation
