About the Role
You will define and evolve large-scale InfiniBand, RoCE, and Ethernet network architectures for AI workloads. You will lead network automation, security, observability, incident response, and configuration management. You will establish engineering standards, lead technical decisions, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience in HPC, AI, hyperscale, or large-scale data center environments
- Experience with InfiniBand, RoCE, RDMA-aware networking, OpenSM, or NVIDIA UFM
- Expert knowledge of BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, and Clos or spine-leaf architectures
- Experience with Cumulus, Nokia, or Arista EOS
- Network automation expertise with Python and Ansible
- Experience with Git, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Terraform, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Experience with Juniper SRX or Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience with network telemetry and observability
- Experience leading complex technical decisions and incidents
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve InfiniBand, RoCE, and Ethernet fabric architectures
- Set technical direction for BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, LACP, and QoS
- Lead network automation using GitOps, Python, and Ansible
- Design perimeter and network security infrastructure
- Lead escalations and root-cause analysis
- Establish SLOs, observability, monitoring, and alerting
- Maintain reliable network inventory and configuration data
- Lead architecture reviews and mentor engineers
