About the Role
You will set technical direction for InfiniBand, RoCE, Ethernet, WAN, and data-center networks. You will create reference architectures, build network automation, lead complex escalations and incident analysis, improve observability, maintain inventory accuracy, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience with RDMA-aware networking, InfiniBand or RoCE, subnet managers, and fabric orchestration
- Expert knowledge of BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, and Clos or spine-leaf architectures
- Network automation expertise using Python, Ansible, Git, infrastructure as code, and pipeline tooling
- Experience with firewall platforms such as Juniper SR or Palo Alto
- Experience designing network telemetry and observability
- Ability to lead complex technical decisions and incidents
- Experience defining network architecture and technical strategy
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve large-scale InfiniBand, RoCE, and Ethernet fabric architectures
- Own technical direction for Ethernet fabrics and network standards
- Design perimeter and security infrastructure
- Lead GitOps-based network automation using Python and Ansible
- Lead escalations and root-cause analysis
- Define network observability, telemetry, monitoring, and alerting
- Maintain accurate network inventory and configuration data
- Partner on new-site delivery and platform evolution
- Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and incident leadership
- Identify systemic risks and drive durable solutions
