About the Role
You will manage programs across the post-silicon and systems hardware development cycle. You will prepare lab and bring-up environments, coordinate firmware deployment, manage characterization and qualification milestones, track program health, mitigate delivery risks, and coordinate cross-functional dependencies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IC chip and board development as an engineer, engineering manager, or technical program manager
- At least 3 years of recent experience as a technical program manager
- Experience with complex software/hardware integration
- Experience managing distributed, multi-region engineering teams
- Understanding of system development and qualification cycles and waterfall program management methodologies
- Experience establishing scalable processes in fast-moving engineering organizations
- Prior experience as an engineering manager responsible for chip-to-ship execution from post-silicon to product
- Background in datacenter hardware development
- Experience scaling engineering teams at Series B/C startups
- Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, and project toolchain integration
- Experience managing external dependencies and customer-driven timelines
Responsibilities
- Lead program management across the post-silicon and systems hardware development cycle
- Prepare lab space, bring-up systems and boards, EVK production design, and validation activities
- Lead firmware deployment and development through chip and system feature demonstrations
- Coordinate power and performance characterization, demo delivery, qualification, and NPI activities
- Establish predictable development milestones with internal and third-party partners
- Coordinate delivery across distributed teams
- Define metrics, dashboards, and reporting for program health
- Develop playbooks and best practices for cross-functional deliveries
- Identify and mitigate risks to delivery schedules and quality
- Provide leadership with clear updates and insights
- Manage dependencies with product, hardware, and partner teams
