About the Role
You will set technical direction for front-end network operations and architecture. You will design and evolve Ethernet fabric architectures, lead complex incidents, define platform standards, improve reliability and observability, and influence end-to-end infrastructure design. You will also mentor senior and principal engineers and drive improvements in uptime, latency, capacity efficiency, and incident reduction.
Requirements
- 12+ years of network-engineering experience focused on hyperscale data-centre, cloud, or AI infrastructure networking
- Expert experience with large-scale Ethernet data-centre fabrics and leaf-spine or Clos topologies
- Production experience with Nvidia Cumulus, Arista EOS or Etherlink, or Nokia platforms
- Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ECMP, and EVPN-VXLAN
- Experience with long-haul circuits, DCI, and optical transport
- Experience with storage networking over Ethernet
- Ability to debug cross-layer hardware, optics, routing, and application issues
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives across teams
Responsibilities
- Own technical direction and operational strategy for front-end AI infrastructure networks
- Design, review, and evolve Ethernet leaf-spine and Clos fabric architectures
- Lead complex front-end network incident investigations and systemic fixes
- Drive initiatives that improve reliability, performance predictability, observability, and operational maturity
- Define standards for hardware configuration, routing, congestion management, firmware lifecycle management, automation, and change safety
- Influence end-to-end system design, including long-haul, DCI, and storage-network integration
- Mentor senior and principal network engineers
- Improve uptime, latency consistency, capacity efficiency, and incident reduction
