About the Role
You will support underlay and overlay networking, onboard BYO-BGP customers, troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues, research network events, and drive platform improvements. You will document maintenance procedures, coordinate issue resolution, troubleshoot across OSI layers, and work with vendors and transit providers.
Requirements
- Network operations troubleshooting, planning, and network-change deployment experience
- 1–2 years of BGP-based network experience
- Internet-scale routing tables, IRR, RIR, RPKI, routing policy, peering policy, and architecture knowledge
- VxLAN and EVPN knowledge
- Linux administration and routing knowledge
- VPC, NFV, Direct Connect, and IPsec knowledge
- Troubleshooting documentation skills
- Vendor and transit-provider ticketing experience
Responsibilities
- Support underlay and overlay networking
- Onboard BYO-BGP customers through tickets
- Troubleshoot availability, reachability, latency, jitter, and cloud-native VPC network issues
- Research network events and drive end-to-end platform improvements
- Compose, review, and test maintenance procedure documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve network and automation issues
- Troubleshoot issues across OSI model layers
- Open and follow up on tickets with vendors and transit providers
