About the Role
You will define power delivery architecture from the data-center grid connection to chips. You will establish technology roadmaps, specify rack and system-level components, develop prototypes, guide validation, resolve power issues and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialised knowledge of Power Engineering
- Experience in power system and delivery architecture, design and development
- Experience with rack-level hardware design
- Proficiency in power hardware and firmware development and debugging
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Design power delivery from data-center power drop to systems and chips
- Establish power technology roadmaps with vendors
- Improve power component reliability and efficiency
- Specify rack-level power hardware and firmware
- Set data-center power policies and supporting telemetry requirements
- Ensure IT power robustness during grid disturbances
- Apply VRM, TLDR and POL technologies
- Guide testing and validation of power hardware and firmware
- Develop and test power-delivery hardware prototypes
- Resolve power hardware and firmware issues
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
