About the Role
You will serve as the senior technical advisor to an OEM engineering team. You will lead device-level escalations, set technical strategy, improve tooling and processes, align cross-functional stakeholders, mentor engineers, and help scale hardware partner engineering.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technical solutions, partner engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of embedded, firmware, or systems engineering experience
- Customer-facing technical experience
- Ability to evaluate OEM root-cause claims
- Experience building durable processes, tooling, or automation
- Senior stakeholder communication
- Willingness to travel and work across time zones
Responsibilities
- Lead escalations for complex device-level issues
- Set technical strategy and priorities for the OEM relationship
- Align product, engineering, hardware, and commercial stakeholders
- Design and drive adoption of tooling, automation, and process improvements
- Improve payment experiences on partner devices
- Mentor Partner Solutions Engineers
- Help scale the hardware partner engineering operating model
- Travel to OEM locations and work across time zones
