About the Role

You will lead the design, integration, validation, and production release of robotic electrical systems. You will create schematics and PCB layouts, guide other designers, work with manufacturers, investigate failures, qualify components, and support customer and manufacturing sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• 12+ years of electrical design experience
• Expertise in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout
• Experience with automation robotics or automotive platforms
• System-level electronics integration experience
• Knowledge of robotic safety standards
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI design and debugging
• DfX expertise
• Experience with PDP or phase-gate processes
• Familiarity with PLM and contract manufacturers

Responsibilities

• Lead complex electrical system design
• Drive designs from concept through production
• Design schematics and PCB layouts in Altium
• Lead PDP phase gates, reviews, verification, and release
• Apply DfX practices
• Manage PLM releases, BOMs, and engineering changes
• Write requirements and test plans
• Investigate failures and lead corrective design
• Qualify electromechanical components
• Mentor electrical designers
• Travel to support bring-up and failure analysis
