About the Role

You will own mechanical, structural, and integration design for high-density compute racks. You will integrate power, cooling, networking, and servers; create manufacturing documentation; qualify parts; debug prototype and production builds; support deployment; and incorporate feedback into subsequent hardware revisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of professional experience designing electromechanical hardware that was built and shipped
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends
  • Willingness to travel to manufacturing and datacenter sites
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work around active factory and datacenter hardware

Responsibilities

  • Own mechanical, structural, and integration design for high-density AI compute racks
  • Integrate compute, networking, power distribution, and liquid cooling
  • Design for manufacturing and assembly
  • Resolve thermal, structural, and power constraints with engineering counterparts
  • Drive vendor and in-house parts from concept through qualified production
  • Debug prototype and production builds on the factory floor
  • Maintain CAD, BOMs, drawings, and build documentation
  • Support cluster deployment and incorporate feedback into future hardware generations
