About the Role
You will apply powder coat and other industrial paint finishes to metals and manufactured products. You will mix paints and solutions, complete baking and polishing processes, monitor drying, and support a safe, collaborative production environment while performing physical work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of general work experience with powder coating
- Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily
- Detail-oriented approach
- Team-oriented work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take on additional roles
- Ability to complete a respirator medical evaluation
- Required participation in a drug and alcohol program
Responsibilities
- Operate spray-painting equipment to apply powder coat finishes
- Apply paint by hand when needed
- Mix paints and other solutions
- Complete finishing processes using baking, polishing, or other materials
- Monitor drying to ensure desired results
- Support other teams and departments as needed
