About the Role
Apply powder coat and other industrial paint finishes to metals and manufactured products. Mix paints and solutions, complete baking and polishing processes, monitor drying, and support a safe, collaborative production environment while performing physical work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of general work experience with powder coating
- Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily
- Detail-oriented approach
- Team-oriented work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take on additional roles
- Ability to complete a respirator medical evaluation
- Required participation in a drug and alcohol program
Responsibilities
- Operate spray-painting equipment to apply powder coat finishes
- Apply paint by hand when needed
- Mix paints and other solutions
- Complete finishing processes using baking, polishing, or other materials
- Monitor drying to ensure desired results
- Support other teams and departments as needed
