About the Role
Serve as the technical anchor for the Platform Engineering team, owning the technical roadmap and ensuring high availability. Design and implement scalable infrastructure, lead incident response and root cause analysis, establish monitoring and alerting, oversee networking and Kubernetes operations, drive capacity planning and performance tuning, and partner with SecOps on security and compliance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on technical experience with large-scale production environments.
- 2+ years leading site reliability engineers or software developers.
- In-depth AWS knowledge including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS, and S3.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and EKS at scale.
- Experience with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Ability to learn and master new technologies quickly.
- Understanding of performance monitoring tools and Linux operating systems.
- Advanced networking knowledge for global multi-region deployments and secure B2B integrations.
Responsibilities
- Act as final technical reviewer for complex production implementations.
- Architect robust solutions to meet 99.99% system uptime.
- Identify root causes for critical incidents and implement permanent fixes.
- Lead service capacity planning, demand forecasting, and system tuning.
- Establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting for critical systems.
- Align technical priorities with business goals and provide status updates.
- Partner with SecOps to ensure security compliance and minimize vulnerability windows.
