About the Role
You will improve the performance of trading software, hardware, and strategies by benchmarking systems, evaluating devices, analyzing latency and throughput, developing performance tools, troubleshooting bottlenecks, and collaborating with Trading, Quant, and Technology teams.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or another technical field
- Strong C++ or Python programming background
- Experience developing performant and scalable applications
- Experience analyzing and tuning operating systems, compilers, networking, I/O subsystems, or accelerators
- Exposure to statistical and experimental methods and tools for performance testing
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams
- Ability to respond accurately to changing market conditions and solve math and coding problems
