You will design optimization models and algorithms, implement a production OR-Tools and CP-SAT service, validate quality and performance, integrate it with the platform, and communicate results to engineering and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in operations research, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of operations research experience
  • Production experience with OR-Tools, CP-SAT, or comparable constraint-programming or mixed-integer-programming solvers
  • Linear programming, integer programming, or stochastic optimization

  • AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Large-scale optimization experience
  • Workforce or resource scheduling experience
  • Workforce management domain knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and develop optimization models for workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Design and implement a schedule-optimization engine using OR-Tools and CP-SAT
  • Own and formalize the end-to-end constraint model
  • Build a production-grade solver service that meets latency targets
  • Define, validate, and monitor schedule-quality metrics
  • Test and validate optimization algorithms for performance, scalability, and accuracy
  • Integrate optimization models into the workforce-management platform
  • Communicate findings, methodologies, and results to stakeholders
  • Validate that generated schedules are operationally usable

Benefits

  • Fully paid parental leave
  • On-site health and wellness centers
