About the Role
You will assess the Single ID design, identify payroll-processing conflicts, recommend and drive a revised functional approach, and align HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders. You will evaluate payroll impacts, define workflows, support data conversion and testing, update integrations, document processes, train users, and support go-live.
Requirements
- 10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll for North America functional experience
- Hands-on payroll configuration experience
- Experience with a PeopleSoft Single ID or employee ID consolidation project
- Expert knowledge of earnings programs, paysheets, pay calendars, retroactive pay, multiperiod payroll, pay groups, and FLSA configuration
- Experience resetting troubled or stalled projects
- Ability to make recommendations and build consensus among HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Assess the Single ID design and identify conflicts with payroll-processing requirements
- Recommend and drive a revised functional approach
- Act as the functional authority on payroll impacts
- Evaluate impacts on pay groups, earnings, paysheets, retro pay, balances, deductions, FLSA, and check generation
- Define future-state workflows
- Support data mapping, conversion, validation, and parallel payroll testing
- Work with technical teams on interface and integration changes
- Produce functional documentation, train end users, and support go-live
