About the Role
You will grow the AI for Science program by building and managing relationships with academic labs, startups, and foundations. You will identify and onboard partners, translate their needs into deployment plans, coordinate internal stakeholders, report program learnings, and help create shared scientific resources.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in or around life sciences research
- Experience building scientific communities of practice
- Knowledge of the life sciences university, research institute, and tools-company landscape
- Technical fluency in AI concepts and LLM capabilities and limitations
- Data analysis experience
- Program-building experience
- Partnership management and prioritization skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
Responsibilities
- Execute the AI for Science API credit program and manage day-to-day partnerships
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners
- Own relationships for AI for Science and coordinate internal stakeholders
- Compile ecosystem reports and learnings to inform research and go-to-market priorities
- Manage program timelines, resources, and reporting
- Translate partners' technical and operational needs into deployment plans
- Support technical prototyping and testing with partners
- Contribute to research on AI's impact on scientific labs
- Identify opportunities for open-source tools, datasets, and research
- Represent the program at scientific convenings and conferences
- Help shape Life Science team processes
