About the Role
You will apply industrial paint finishes to metals and manufactured products using spray equipment or hand-painting methods. You will mix paints and solutions, complete baking and polishing processes, and monitor drying to achieve the required aesthetic and protective results.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily
- Detail-oriented approach
- Willingness to learn and take on additional roles
- Required participation in a drug and alcohol program
- Ability to complete a respirator medical evaluation
Responsibilities
- Operate spray-painting equipment to apply industrial finishes
- Apply paint by hand when needed
- Mix paints and other solutions
- Complete finishing processes using baking, polishing, or other materials
- Monitor drying to ensure desired results
