About the Role
You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment at a hands-on mining site. You will diagnose problems, replace parts, respond to emergencies, manage cooling equipment, deploy replacement machines, track assets, prepare reports, and help improve operational efficiency. You will work on your feet and handle physical tasks throughout your shifts.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Docs, inventory management, and machine monitoring software
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with your hands
- Strong work ethic and results-driven approach
- Ability to learn and analyze quickly
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work with regular exposure to heat, noise, and vibration
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the shift
- Ability to frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds
- Technical degree in a computer-related, electronic, or electrical field is preferred
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience is preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts
- Test and adjust equipment
- Install and maintain mining machines and facility equipment
- Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs
- Supervise mining machines and network equipment
- Operate and manage cooling equipment
- Assist with replacement machine configuration and deployment
- Respond to power failures, network issues, and overheating events
- Tag assets and maintain asset tracking software logs
- Provide daily equipment operation and maintenance reports
- Analyze facility workflows and operational issues
- Contribute to technical reports and the operations and maintenance knowledge base
