About the Role
You will serve on the Board of Trustees and provide leadership through strategy, governance, risk management, and oversight of company and charitable responsibilities. You will guide and constructively challenge the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership Team, while acting as an ambassador and advocate.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading strategic HR and people functions within complex organisations, or senior defence, security, and national resilience expertise
- Recent non-executive, senior leadership, or executive-level experience in commercial, academic, research, or government sectors is desirable
Responsibilities
- Set strategy and provide leadership to the Institute
- Support good governance and risk management
- Ensure operation within company responsibilities and charitable objects
- Provide guidance, support, and constructive challenge to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership Team
- Act as an ambassador, advocate, and influencer
