About the Role
You will support day-to-day bitcoin mining operations by tracking equipment shipments and inventory, maintaining records and tickets, and assisting with mining-equipment installation or reorganization. You will perform basic miner maintenance, monitor mining-pool data and temperatures, identify production issues, provide simple phone troubleshooting, escort approved visitors, and help address building, electrical, HVAC, and power issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work without supervision and complete assigned tasks
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Reliable self-transportation
- Ability to be insured under the company vehicle insurance policy
Responsibilities
- Log and scan equipment shipments and maintain inventory records, tracking spreadsheets, databases, and tickets
- Assist with mining-equipment installation and reorganization projects
- Perform basic miner maintenance, including fan and power-supply replacement
- Monitor mining-pool data and report significant changes
- Identify issues affecting the production environment
- Escort approved visitors throughout the facility
- Provide simple phone troubleshooting and equipment reboots
- Assist with building, electrical, HVAC, and power maintenance and troubleshooting
- Monitor temperatures and report abrupt changes
