About the Role
You will monitor accounts and portfolios, perform daily reconciliations, and assist with bookings and financial record keeping. You will work with trading teams and external partners to manage assets on exchanges and follow up on fund transfers. You will investigate and resolve discrepancies, manage creditor interactions, and audit invoices. You will produce scheduled and ad hoc reports and analyses, support quality assurance practices, and help convert manual processes into automated solutions. You will manage multiple priorities independently while communicating issues and resolutions clearly to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3-5 years of middle office or related experience, preferably within multinational or financial services and ideally in digital currencies or trading
- Proficiency in Excel and financial software systems
- Ability to raise issues and communicate with peers, managers, clients, and business partners
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate self-motivation
- Initiative, sense of urgency, and resilience in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and cryptocurrency regulation is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Monitor accounts and portfolios and assist in daily reconciliations
- Assist trading team with asset management on exchanges and follow up fund transfers
- Resolve identified discrepancies and troubleshoot systemic issues
- Manage creditor interactions including verifying terms and facilitating drawdowns and payments
- Audit invoices and addresses
- Produce scheduled and unscheduled reports, analyses, and historical records
- Support quality assurance practices and help develop manual processes into automated processes
- Conduct break analysis and resolve trading data discrepancies
- Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as required
