About the Role
You will keep robotics systems operational, assemble and disassemble robot components, cables, and PCBs, and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues. You will document testing rigs and processes, maintain BOM and quality documentation, support procurement, and collaborate on system integration. This role includes business travel and frequent client-site travel.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience soldering SMD components
- Knowledge of electronics design principles
- English proficiency
- Knowledge of robotics actuators and sensors
- Ability to solve common problems quickly
- Firmware development experience
Responsibilities
- Ensure robotics systems remain ready for use
- Create technical documentation, drawings, and assembly instructions
- Maintain BOM, assembly, quality-control, and SOP documentation
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues during development and production
- Assemble and disassemble robot components, cables, and PCBs
- Perform soldering, desoldering, wiring, and hardware troubleshooting
- Support procurement by sourcing suitable products, suppliers, and quotations
- Travel to client sites and China for business trips
