About the Role
You will own the functional and technical understanding of end-to-end Trade Finance processes and manage IMEX/Surecomp platform configurations. You will translate business requirements into specifications, support design, implementation and testing, investigate incidents, improve services, and coordinate application development and modernization activities.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in Trade Finance products and operating models
- Hands-on experience with IMEX or Surecomp Trade Finance platforms
- Understanding of Trade Finance instruments, including guarantees, letters of credit, and documentary collections
- Experience with end-to-end front-office, middle-office, and back-office processes
- Knowledge of functional specifications, testing cycles, and production support
- Experience with cloud environments and modern digital architectures
- Experience with mission-critical banking applications
- Microservices architecture
- Agile delivery
- Experience in complex IT projects
- Knowledge of Oracle, JPA, and Hibernate
- Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
- Object-oriented analysis and design patterns
- English proficiency at B1/B2 level
- Degree in economics, engineering, computer science, or equivalent professional experience
Responsibilities
- Act as Product Specialist for Trade Finance platforms, focusing on IMEX and Surecomp solutions
- Own the functional and technical understanding of end-to-end Trade Finance processes
- Manage IMEX/Surecomp configurations, parameters, and product setup
- Work on integrations between Trade Finance platforms and surrounding systems
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Support IT teams during design, implementation, and testing
- Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and improve services
- Contribute to digitalization, automation, API enablement, and platform modernization
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Ensure documentation, testing, and go-live readiness
- Take accountability for assigned lending applications, including performance and vulnerability remediation
- Lead and coordinate development efforts for assigned applications
