About the Role
You will lead the on-site delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing packages for hyperscale data centre projects. You will coordinate contractors and systems, review designs and inspections, resolve technical issues, oversee commissioning and handover, track progress and risks, and support commercial and regulatory processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of MEP project delivery experience, including large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience delivering MEP scopes from installation through commissioning and handover
- Knowledge of power systems, cooling infrastructure, HVAC, controls, and fire protection systems
- Contractor management, coordination, and performance monitoring experience
- Knowledge of commissioning and operational readiness
- Communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Fluent English
- Norwegian language skills are advantageous
- Willingness to be site-based in Norway through rotation, weekly travel, or relocation
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate on-site MEP construction activities
- Manage interfaces between mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and building systems
- Review designs, drawings, submittals, inspections, and testing documentation
- Resolve technical, safety, and coordination issues
- Manage communication with contractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Chair coordination meetings and track progress
- Support change management, claims, and progress validation
- Monitor construction, procurement, and commissioning milestones
- Report cost, quality, risk, and performance metrics
- Promote safety, sustainability, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement
