About the Role
The role supports Anchorage Digital Singapore's compliance with MAS requirements and other applicable regulations. It covers AML/CFT policy and control development, regulatory reporting, sanctions and KYC support, transaction and blockchain alert resolution, audit coordination, board reporting, and collaboration with global compliance, product, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of compliance operations experience with exposure to Singapore and broader APAC regulatory compliance.
- Ability to leverage automation and case management tools for high-volume recurring deadlines.
- Analytical and scalable approach to simplifying complex procedures.
- Pragmatic, creative, and commercially minded approach to regulatory problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Serve as deputy to the MLRO and liaison with MAS and other regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls.
- Monitor regulatory developments and adapt compliance programs.
- Prepare regulatory reports for MAS, ACRA, IRAS, including PSA, AML/CFT, FATCA, CRS, and tax filings.
- Collaborate with compliance, product, and engineering teams on digital asset compliance.
- Prepare compliance reports for the Board and Risk Management Committee.
- Support sanctions, KYC, transaction, and blockchain alert resolutions and escalations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and action plans.
- Improve standardized compliance workflows and use automation and AI-guided tools to streamline processes.
