About the Role

You will manage compliance for Cayman Islands operations, oversee local regulatory requirements and filings, handle AML, CFT, sanctions, and enhanced due diligence escalations, support new product assessments, prepare board reporting, and advise product, trading, and legal stakeholders on Cayman-related matters.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of financial compliance, legal, or regulatory experience
  • Experience with derivatives products
  • Experience at a US-headquartered broker-dealer, crypto platform, asset manager, or law firm managing offshore Cayman structures
  • Understanding of institutional digital asset market structure, execution flows, and custody models
  • ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent compliance credentials preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience drafting regulatory responses and board-level presentations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee regulatory requirements for Cayman entities
  • Manage regulatory filings and notifications
  • Draft responses to regulatory inquiries
  • Assess new products and manage compliance requirements
  • Align AML, CFT, and CPF policies and monitoring tools with Cayman regulations
  • Handle enhanced due diligence, PEP, and high-risk client reviews
  • Oversee sanctions and Travel Rule compliance
  • Prepare quarterly compliance and AML/CFT reports for the board
  • Advise product, trading, and legal teams on Cayman-related matters
