About the Role
You will manage mechanical delivery for hyperscale data centre projects from design coordination through construction, commissioning, and handover. You will oversee mechanical works, validate designs, coordinate interfaces, track delivery risks, lead quality and testing activities, and work with contractors and consultants on site.
Requirements
- Have 7+ years of mechanical delivery experience, including data centre or mission-critical projects
- Have a qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or a related field
- Understand HVAC, liquid cooling, piping, plant infrastructure, and mechanical controls
- Coordinate design, installation, and commissioning activities
- Use project reporting and scheduling tools
- Be fluent in English
- Commit to regular on-site presence in Norway
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee mechanical construction activities
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, standards, and HSE regulations
- Review design drawings, submittals, and technical documentation
- Manage interfaces between mechanical, electrical, controls, and CSA disciplines
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and support schedule recovery
- Oversee quality assurance, inspections, testing, and commissioning
- Support integrated systems testing and mechanical-system documentation
- Conduct coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Promote safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
