About the Role
You will own rotating equipment for behind-the-meter generation, including turbines, engines, and generators. You will engineer mechanical packages and their auxiliary systems, conduct factory and site acceptance testing, hold vendors accountable for performance, and root-cause fleet reliability issues.
Requirements
- Experience engineering rotating equipment
- Experience with gas turbines, reciprocating engines, large pumps, or compressors
- Experience owning equipment specifications and vendor technical evaluations
- Experience witnessing factory acceptance tests
- Ability to interpret vibration data
- Experience root-causing rotating-equipment failures
- Gas turbine or reciprocating package integration
- API standards
- Condition monitoring systems
- Power plant commissioning
Responsibilities
- Own rotating equipment for behind-the-meter generation
