About the Role
You will own behind-the-meter generation, energy-storage, and microgrid architecture for data centers. You will lead interconnection engineering, evaluate vendors, define performance requirements, review designs, support commissioning, and improve generation and interconnection standards across sites.

Responsibilities
- Own on-site generation architecture, sizing, topology, fuel systems, and emissions controls
- Develop generation expansion and temporary-power strategies
- Model generation response to data center load profiles
- Define battery energy storage and microgrid architecture
- Specify microgrid-controller requirements and integrate controls with SCADA and EPMS
- Lead utility interconnection studies, agreements, and compliance
- Own power quality at the point of interconnection
- Lead technical diligence for generation, storage, and microgrid vendors
- Define technical performance terms for energy-services agreements
- Review design packages and support factory and site acceptance testing
- Manage generation and microgrid work across multiple sites
