About the Role
You will develop actuator mechanical systems from concept through manufacturing readiness. You will create CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and tolerance definitions; integrate mechanical and electromagnetic components; test prototypes; investigate failures; and refine designs for reliable production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or a related engineering role
- CAD tools
- Production-quality engineering drawings and mechanical documentation
- Tolerances, fits, materials, and mechanical design fundamentals
- Prototype assembly, testing, and hardware iteration
Responsibilities
- Design and release actuator components and assemblies
- Create CAD models, engineering drawings, BOMs, tolerance definitions, and interface documentation
- Improve actuator performance through prototyping, testing, failure analysis, and design iteration
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, sensing, and electromagnetic components
- Support actuator designs from prototypes to production-ready hardware
